Flash no more: Lumberjack goes Unity.
Even though I have some regrets about doing it. It was a really long way for my game to become what you see in the video. I’ve made a few mistakes during the development: not making level editor turned into a waste of time, not using any frameworks, e.t.c. I’m also going to miss nape physics engine. Anyway, I believe this changes going to help me finish the game.
The last month (maybe more) I’ve spent on doing… nothing. Like super-nothing. Proud to present a little break in my procrastination.
Protagonist redesigned. #WeNeedDiverseBooks and games.
«Lumberjack’s Venture Co»
That’s how I’m gonna name the game (if I ever finish it). By the way, I wasn’t writing much about it, but I’ll keep it this way until I release some good short demo that makes sense.
So you’re gonna be playing as a brand new CEO of the Lumberjack’s Venture Co who’s trying to save the company from bankruptcy. Since you are the hereditary lumberjack and you also know which side of the gun is the most dangerous, you’re gonna try and perform various contracts: chopping trees, hunting zombies, investigating stuff, chopping more trees.
«What’s life-buoy for?»
Just in case. There is a «venture» in the title after all.
Sell! Sell! Sell! Brains! Brains! Brains!
You will be gettin’ two options: sign a contract or jump out of the window. I definitely should try next ludum dare!
